This charming Filipino restaurant is more than just a place to eat—it’s a culinary haven where tradition and innovation meet on every plate.

The menu at Dad Joe’s is a treasure trove of mouthwatering selections. Guests rave about the rich and velvety truffle mushroom chowder, a standout dish driving cravings long after the meal ends. Its savory depth and umami-rich profile alone make it feel like a full meal that comforts and excites the palate in equal measure. The crispy pork kare kare is a delightful twist on a Filipino classic, boasting a slightly sweet flavor that perfectly balances its crunchy, tender pork components. Fans of hearty, well-loved dishes will undoubtedly appreciate the American pork adobo and dirty rice, each prepared with layers of flavor and meticulous attention to detail.

What truly sets Dad Joe’s apart is its unexpected embrace of Western favorites with genuine flair. Checked out this little gem while visiting family in Dagupan. The staff was really attentive and the food was delicious! We ordered the chowder, crispy pork kare kare, American pork adobo and dirty rice. The truffle mushroom chowder can be a meal on its own! Super savory with an umami-ness to it. I am sure I will be craving it again! The crispy pork kare kare has a slightly more sweet flavor compared to traditional kare kare. This was a pleasant surprise, as the crispy lechon, bagoong and the slightly sweeter peanut butter sauce balanced each other out really well. Nice touch on the knotted green beans too! The American pork adobo is also a different take on traditional adobo. It's like a super tender, braised pork with a thicker adobo glaze and poached egg. This was the clear winner for me! The dirty rice was a nice complement to the entire meal. All in all, this is a great place to eat. I look forward to visiting again!

Had lunch here as a stop over while visiting. Very good food and reasonable price. Must try: 4-hour roast beef, country fried chicken, kare kare. For sharing dishes is good for 3-4 people. 4 hour roast beef is very tender ans seasoned well.

I have visited Dad Joe's before, but this was my first time trying the breakfast. My wife and I bought the Classic Pancakes, French toast, Bacon/Eggs/Garlic rice, and the Omelet. Although everything was delicious, I enjoyed the pancakes the most. They were thick, fluffy and taste amazing. The bacon/eggs/garlic rice were delicious as well. It was my first time having garlic rice and it was different, but I enjoyed it. The French toast were also good. My only issue is that I wish their was a little bit more powdered sugar on them (but that's just my personal preference) The Omelet was huge, big enough for 2 people. It was cooked with bacon, cheddar cheese and mushrooms. The Omelet was good, but my only concern was that it was cooked with too much oil and it took away from the omelet a little. Overall I was greatly satisfied with the food and the service. The atmosphere was clean, relaxing, and comfortable. This was my second time going to Dad Joe's while visiting the Philippines and it won't be the last.
